Several images from this series were exhibited as part of Copenhagen Photo Festival's 2200 Hverdagsbilleder, 2011 & 2012

I began documenting the process when I first found out I was expecting a baby. In the beginning my focus was on the changes my body was going through, but once my son was born it became more about the huge changes in my life, being part of a family and trying to build a home as a single parent.

At the same time I became fascinated with how children experience the world and learn through play, combining sensory experiences and language.
